Bodie Hills Stewardship Day

September 29, 2018 @ 8:30 am - 2:00 pm

Join us September 29th, 2018 to help us steward these amazing public lands and spend a day in the Bodie Hills.   We will help care for this unique and special place by removing old trash dumps that can be harmful to wildlife and degrade the natural landscape and views.

We will meet at the Mono Basin Scenic Visitor Center at 8:30 am and shortly thereafter combine vehicles, and carpool up to the site about 15 minutes to the north in the southern Bodie Hills near Conway Ranch.

This will be a partnership event co-hosted by Bodie Hills Conservation Partnership, Friends of the Inyo, and the BLM. Please wear work appropriate clothing including long pants, hat, and closed toed shoes.  Tools and gloves will be provided.

Volunteers will get a pizza lunch, raffle prizes, and along with a free interpretive talk from the BLM Archeologist after lunch.

Partners include BHCP, Friends of the Inyo, and the BLM Bishop Field Office.

For more information email: info@friendsoftheinyo.org or april@bodiehills.org   Or call (760) 873-6500.
