Saturday October 18, 2014: Indian Fire Bitterbrush Planting

Join the Bodie Hills Conservation Partnership and the Bristlecone Chapter of the California Native Plant Society as we assist the BLM with re-planting Bitterbrush in the footprint of the Indian Fire, south of Mono Lake.

Bitterbrush is vitally important forage for mule deer and pronghorn antelope. Volunteers will assist with planting and watering Bitterbrush in an area burned in 2012. This will be a fun project in a spectacularly beautiful area.

We will meet at Mono Mills off Hwy 120 East at 9:30 a.m. Directions to our meeting location can be found at the following link; http://www.roadsideamerica.com/map/9374

For more information or to RSVP please contact Jeff Hunter at info@bodiehills.org or 423-322-7866.
